| £69 Half Day Taster Sail. For the complete beginner, or perhaps a dinghy sailor who would like to try yacht sailing. No experience necessary, wet-weather clothing and lifejackets provided free. These events are arranged on selected dates throughout the year when individuals or couples join a group of between 3 and 7 people. Alternatively a voucher can be purchased for exclusive use of the yacht, complete with skipper, for your own party of up to 7 friends or family. The voucher can be for a specific date, or the date can be left open to be arranged later. Prices: £69 per person, or £250 for exclusive use of the yacht. These prices are for week days. Add 15% for weekend days and bank holidays. |

| £99 Full Day Sailing Experience. Join the yacht for the day. Sailing from Christchurch Harbour, across Christchurch Bay, through Hurst Narrows, past Hurst Castle into The Solent, and berthing in Yarmouth Harbour on the Isle of Wight. Enjoy exploring ashore and lunch in one of Yarmouth's pubs or restaurants, before sailing back, via The Needles, to Christchurch. | £150 Cowes Week. 2-9th August 2008. This trip is suitable for novices and is an opportunity to sample the 'Cowes Week' experience, when hundreds of yachts descend on Cowes for the famous 'Cowes Week' regatta. We will not be taking part in the racing, but we will sail in The Solent to view the racing action close-up, then berth in Cowes overnight to soak up the atmosphere. Price: £150 per person, Included in price: skipper, lifejackets, food, tea/coffee, berthing fees, fuel. There are no hidden extras. |

The course provides a short introduction to sail cruising for novices. By the end of the course, participants will have experienced steering a yacht, sail handling, ropework and be aware of safety on board. You will have sailed 100 miles including 4 hours at night. | |

(£395 April and October, £445 May to September) This 5-day course gives you a chance to take charge on short passages under instruction with plenty of advice and help from the instructor. Ideal for persons with basic navigation and sailing ability and who have spent at least 5 days at sea. By the end of the course you should be able to skipper a small yacht in familiar waters by day. During the course you will have sailed 100 miles including 4 hours at night. | |

To obtain your voucher, simply ring or email to confirm availability, then send a cheque and state the name to go on the voucher, or pay by credit card over the phone, and we will send you the voucher by first-class post the following working day, or we can email the voucher the same day for you to print out.

Voucher terms and conditions: Vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of issue. Vouchers are not refundable for cash. Bookings cannot be changed or cancelled within 5 weeks of sailing date. Christchurch Yachting reserves the right to postpone sailings owing to adverse weather or other reasons, and shall not be liable for expenses such as travel or accommodation.
